BOARD-LED CEO BENCHMARKING

Advised Board of Directors on selection of CEO who could turnaround a flagging mid-cap public corporation in the media/entertainment industry.

Through one-on-one interviews and open source research, assisted the Board in defining:

  • What the CEO was getting into – immediate market, corporate, cultural and personal challenges
  • What the CEO would have to do – strategic and tactical goals for the corporation
  • What the CEO had to be able to do – requirements of performance capabilities and potential
  • What the CEO needed to have done – professional and personal accomplishments

With the ideal CEO and objectives defined, advised the Board on the companies and executives that should be considered.
